“SUNDAY” AUDIO RECORDING
**PLEASE RE- FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE GENERAL AUDIO INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU PROCEED.**
The updated learning materials for the song are on the Google Drive HERE.
For questions about the song or style, contact Allen at allen@bivoices.org. For questions about choir instructions regarding the recording/submission process, contact Ben at benroseberry@bivoices.org
There are 3 audio deliverables.
Record 3 separate audio takes in GarageBand or your preferred digital audio workstation.
Make sure the reverb, echo and all other effects are turned off. We will add them in post production.

Remember your vocals should be acapella. We should hear no instrumentals in the background.
Make sure your audio files are the same length as the Demo as you export your audio files. To do that make sure your loop function is the same length as the demo track. (See how to export vocals in GarageBand for detailed instructions)
For all takes, please record using the full track from the top of the track, so the mixers can easily align all the audio.
Export the audio as .wav or .aif files if possible; if not, it can be an mp3, .wav files are preferred.
Please do not just send the Garageband .band file. It creates more work for the Music Team, and it's actually not much extra work for you. [Click “Share”-->”Export Song to Disk” and select WAVE].
Please label your files as follows:
[Name]_[Section]_VOX1
[Name]_[Section]_VOX2
[Name]_[Section]_VOX3
NOTES FROM ALLEN:
We are taking quick breaths in the following places:
m26 after “blue”
m28 after “green”
m33-34 between “of” and “light”
m35-36 between “and” and “dark”
UPLOAD
The more files you have the longer the upload time. So we ask that you please be patient and keep checking that it's moving every few minutes. IT WILL WORK :) !!
Avoid texting or emailing videos to yourself (for example, to transfer them from phone to computer), as it lowers the quality.
