Welcome,
to the Broadway Inspirational Voices Official Site.
Broadway Inspirational Voices:
Originally founded by McElroy in 1994 as the Broadway Gospel Choir
the group was reincarnated into its current form in 1999 as The
Broadway Inspirational Voices.
In
addition to numerous concerts, the group has performed on “The Rosie
O’Donnell Christmas Special,” Broadway Sings Elton John, The
Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation Benefit, The 2000 and 2009
Tony Awards, OpSail 2000 for President and Mrs. Clinton and "Barack
On Broadway".

Broadway Inspirational Voices second album Great Joy: A
Gospel Christmas was released on Sh-K-Boom Records in 2003 and
received a Grammy Award nomination.
"The
mission of Broadway Inspirational Voices is to raise awareness,
provide spiritual support, and to help raise funds for people in
need through music. We raise our voices as a multi-ethnic,
religiously diverse choir of singers, actors and dancers who have
performed on Broadway, national tours, and regional theatres. BIV
uses the power of Gospel music in rousing live concerts and
benefits, as well as a dynamic outreach program for children.
Through outreach we hope to inspire creativity, to promote a message
of tolerance, understanding and respect for cultural diversity
through the arts."
Broadway Inspirational Voices is a 501(C)3 Not-For-Profit

outreach program in an effort to maintain and encourage
music in public schools. The primary focus of this
outreach is centered around the original instrument; THE
VOICE!
